2016–now
Accurate Digital Solutions · Green Bay, WI → Citrus Heights, CA
Unblocking engineers and stress-testing builds
PROBLEM
Senior engineers stalled when a client's business model or method wasn't clear, and new workflows shipped with edge cases nobody had walked.
WHAT I DID
Translated goals into explicit requirements and logic; walked every workflow and build looking for gaps before release.
OUTCOME
Fewer rework cycles; engineers could stay heads-down while I owned the 'what' and 'why'.
Growing one account from $60 to $2,800 per month
PROBLEM
A small client with one cheap service and a dozen manual processes.
WHAT I DID
Mapped their operations, found the next process worth automating, delivered it, measured, repeated.
OUTCOME
47× account value, built on ROI the client could see each quarter.
SharpSpring → HighLevel migration (2022)
PROBLEM
Client CRMs and automations living on a platform we were leaving.
WHAT I DID
Mapped fields and workflows, cleaned records before the move, rebuilt automations, trained client teams.
OUTCOME
Clients moved with no lost pipeline; HighLevel became the base for EnGaged.
Hosting 30+ sites for ten years
PROBLEM
Clients needed uptime, SSL, DNS, migrations and recovery without an IT department.
WHAT I DID
Ran Linux VPS and managed WooCommerce hosting; handled migrations, recovery and support tickets.
OUTCOME
A decade of uptime for 30+ sites and a 'broken website support' service line.
Enterprise discovery (2019–2020)
PROBLEM
Fortune 500 buyers met at NGLCC matchmaker events with real but undefined problems.
WHAT I DID
Ran concurrent discovery with Harley-Davidson (single BI dashboard across units), T-Mobile (SEO after the Sprint merger) and an appliance maker (ML/AI, under NDA).
OUTCOME
Three concurrent enterprise scopes; the pandemic froze buying, and I pivoted to small-business delivery. Deloitte invited a demo in 2025.
2017–2018
Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce
Client → advocate → paid ambassador
PROBLEM
A chamber client needed regional presence and membership growth.
WHAT I DID
Hosted Chamber on Tap and Coffee Connection events, represented the chamber across the region for over a year.
OUTCOME
Membership growth; ADS named LGBT Business of the Year (2017).
2014–2016
Infinity Technology · Green Bay, WI
Reshaping the role in the interview
PROBLEM
They posted a designer/developer job; what they needed was someone between clients and a Microsoft-stack team.
WHAT I DID
Pitched and took a software analyst + account manager role; inherited a book of business with aged leads.
OUTCOME
Became the liaison who scoped and quoted custom applications for foundries, manufacturers, tribal and government clients.
Legacy systems ↔ Engage CMS integrations
PROBLEM
Clients' legacy data had to feed a customized Umbraco platform.
WHAT I DID
Scoped integrations, coordinated the ASP.NET team, contributed code, tracked everything in ConnectWise.
OUTCOME
Fast, responsive sites tied to the systems clients already ran.
2013–2014
Good Bit Digital · Green Bay, WI
WordPress beyond the template layer
PROBLEM
Startup clients needed content models WordPress didn't have out of the box.
WHAT I DID
Wrote custom post types and worked in a PHP MVC framework alongside WordPress.
OUTCOME
Highly customized sites that editors could still run themselves.
2012–2013
DealerFire · Appleton, WI
68 launches in twelve months
PROBLEM
Dealer sites had to be polished and launched on hard deadlines, six at a time.
WHAT I DID
Managed each from signed invoice to launch; built front- and back-end features in PHP/MySQL/jQuery; worked design decisions directly with designer and client.
OUTCOME
~68 sites live in a year with a repeatable, documented process.
2009–2013
Webknuckle.Net · while in college
End-to-end delivery while studying
PROBLEM
Local designers needed a development partner; small businesses needed everything.
WHAT I DID
Design concepts, development, deployment and hosting; Flash contract work for Infinity Technology.
OUTCOME
The contract relationship became the full-time Infinity role in 2014.
Robert set requirements and priorities and directed the build; engineers (and AI coding tools) wrote the code.

Requirements traceability, applied to a résumé. Nothing leaves your browser.
Why leave your own company?
Sales and ownership were never the part I was best at. Requirements, systems, and making things work for the people using them were. I want to do that inside a team, with a mandate bigger than one shop can give me.
Have you worked inside a large organization?
Alongside it, constantly: enterprise discovery with Harley-Davidson, T-Mobile and a major appliance manufacturer (under NDA), a Deloitte demo for its internal government team, and government, tribal and manufacturing clients at Infinity Technology. I know how procurement, stakeholders and change control behave.
Did you build the SaaS products yourself?
I designed them and ran the builds: requirements, priorities, hands-on testing and feedback. Engineers wrote the code, some of it with AI coding tools I directed. Earlier in my career I was the developer (PHP/MySQL, custom WordPress, ASP.NET contributions).
Certifications?
No personal technology certifications. My team earned Velo certification and the agency is Wix Studio certified under my direction. I am choosing an AI credential now and will list it once it is formally in progress.
